We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Analyst to join our J&J Surgical Vision Care team, responsible for delivering sales and customer analytics, tools and insights to support optimal strategy development, execution and commercial excellence within J&J Surgical Vision.

Reporting to the Commercial Excellence Manager, ANZ you will work on providing analysis, ad hoc reporting, and sales analytical and contract support to achieve current and future ANZ business goals.

We will be open to junior Analysts who are willing to grow and develop their careers with J&J.


  • Track sales performance, market share, pricing development and sales force productivity
  • Perform regular and ad hoc analysis as well as sales performance reporting that support the sales team and management
  • Prepare presentations and reports to support users, leveraging existing and new analytics tools including Tableau and SalesForce data
  • Prepare, maintain, track and report on Tender submissions and outcomes with support from the Country Head, Regional Sales Managers, Finance, and CE Manager
  • Enable decision making, providing data, insights and questioning output to guide team members on how to maximise value from their work
  • Support contract management, rebate management and processing with relevant customers in partnership with finance and sales team members
  • Support the CE Manager with ad hoc projects
  • Provide EyeForce (SalesForce) administration and optimization.



  • Prior experience within an analytical or commercial role
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse and provide insights and recommendations to the commercial business to enable optimal decision making
  • Independent worker with the ability to meet business deadlines
  • Strong communicator able to collaborate with the field sales team
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite: Excel, Powerpoint
  • Preferred skillset in using SAP BW, Tableau, Salesforce, Sharepoint.
